Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and improve business performance through data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and retrieve relevant data.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Prepare periodic reports and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance.
Collaborate with business, marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand data requirements.
Identify data inconsistencies and recommend improvements in data quality.
Automate recurring reports and streamline data analysis processes.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing databases.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large datasets and business reporting.
Understanding of statistical concepts and data interpretation.
Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
Knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with KPI reporting and dashboard development.
