PeopleXM Technologies ("PeopleXM", "we", "us") provides AI-powered career-readiness tools to universities, recruiters and students. This policy covers what personal data we collect, why we collect it and what rights you have.

What we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone number, organisation / institution.
• Profile data — skills, education, resume, assessment answers, mock-interview audio and transcripts.
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, device + browser info.
• Payment data — when applicable, processed by Razorpay. We never store card numbers.

Why we collect it

• To run the service you signed up for: assessments, mock interviews, resume generation, placement reports.
• To improve the service: aggregate analytics on which modules work.
• To contact you about product updates (opt-out any time).
• To comply with applicable law.

Who sees your data

• Students: your TPO + any recruiter at an organisation you apply to can see your profile, scores and interview recordings.
• Universities / TPOs: see data for students at your institution only.
• Recruiters: see data for candidates who applied to your postings or whose profile matches a search you ran.
• PeopleXM staff: engineers debugging issues; support agents responding to tickets you raise.
• We do not sell data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Your rights

• Request a copy of your data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data (some records may be retained as required by law or for fraud prevention).
• Opt out of marketing emails.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes materially. For significant changes we'll notify active users by email at least 30 days in advance.
