Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically skilled, and motivated MERN Stack Developer (Fresher) to join our software development team in Bangalore.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The role involves working on both front-end and back-end development, API integration, database management, and application optimization.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, basic knowledge of the MERN technology stack, and a passion for building scalable and user-friendly web applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front-End Development

• Develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Build reusable React components and implement modern UI designs.
• Work with React Hooks, props, state management, and component lifecycle concepts.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert wireframes into functional web pages.

2. Back-End Development

• Assist in developing server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web applications.
• Implement basic authentication, authorization, and input validation.
• Handle server-side logic, API requests, and error management.
• Support debugging, testing, and optimization of back-end services.

3. Database Management

• Work with MongoDB to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data.
• Create and manage database schemas using Mongoose.
• Perform CRUD operations and basic database queries.
• Assist in optimizing database performance and maintaining data integrity.
• Understand database relationships and data modelling concepts.

4. Application Development & Testing

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Identify and resolve application bugs and technical issues.
• Perform unit testing and basic application testing.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application functionality and performance.
• Follow coding standards and software development best practices.

5. Collaboration & Version Control

• Use Git and GitHub for source code management.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Work with senior developers to understand project requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed features.
• Support application deployment and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated with emerging JavaScript frameworks and web development technologies.

Required Technical Skills

1. Front-End Technologies

• HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Candidates with MERN Stack certifications, internships, or relevant academic projects will have an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing academic or personal projects using the MERN Stack.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.
