Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and technically motivated Associate System Engineers (Freshers) to join our IT and Software Engineering team in Bangalore.

The selected candidates will assist in software development, application testing, system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. They will work closely with experienced engineers to support technical projects and ensure efficient system operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong programming fundamentals, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development & Support

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Java, Python, C++, or other programming languages.
• Support application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in software development and enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with senior developers to understand technical and business requirements.

2. System Configuration & Maintenance

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance and identify technical issues.
• Support Windows and Linux system administration activities.
• Assist in system updates, software installations, and patch management.
• Maintain system documentation and configuration records.

3. Software Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform basic functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Prepare and execute test cases based on software requirements.
• Identify, document, and report application defects.
• Coordinate with development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support software quality assurance activities.

4. Database Management

• Assist in database operations and data management activities.
• Write basic SQL queries for data retrieval and validation.
• Support database connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in preparing database-related reports.

5. IT Infrastructure & Networking

• Support basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Assist in resolving connectivity and system access issues.
• Work with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for system maintenance.
• Follow IT security policies and technical procedures.

6. Technical Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting records.
• Participate in project meetings, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT support teams.
• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Complete assigned technical tasks within project deadlines.

Required Technical Skills

Programming Languages

• Basic knowledge of Java, Python, C, or C++.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Basic debugging and coding skills.

Database Management

• Understanding of DBMS concepts.
• Basic SQL queries, joins, and database operations.
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Operating Systems

• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of processes, threads, memory management, and file systems.
• Familiarity with Linux commands and system troubleshooting.

Computer Networking

• Understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting concepts.

Software Engineering

• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals.
• Basic familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of REST APIs and web technologies.

Development Tools

• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.

• Fresh graduates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible.
• Relevant technical certifications, internships, or academic projects will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic projects involving software development or system engineering.
• Basic programming experience in Java, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to software testing and application support.
