Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically skilled, and motivated Flutter Developer (Fresher) to join our Mobile Application Development team in Bangalore.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. The role involves building responsive user interfaces, integrating REST APIs, debugging applications, and collaborating with developers and designers to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Flutter, Dart programming, object-oriented programming, and mobile application development concepts, along with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

1. Flutter Application Development

• Assist in developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Build reusable widgets and responsive user interfaces.
• Implement application features based on functional requirements and UI/UX designs.
• Support Android and iOS application development using a shared Flutter codebase.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable application code.

2. UI/UX Implementation

• Convert wireframes and design prototypes into functional mobile application screens.
• Develop responsive layouts using Flutter widgets.
• Implement navigation, forms, animations, and interactive UI components.
• Ensure consistent application appearance across different screen sizes.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve application usability.

3. API Integration & Data Management

• Integrate REST APIs to retrieve and display application data.
• Work with JSON data and HTTP requests.
• Implement basic data handling and error management.
• Assist in integrating Firebase services where required.
• Support local data storage using SharedPreferences, SQLite, or similar solutions.

4. Application Testing & Debugging

• Identify and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
• Perform basic unit, widget, and integration testing.
• Test applications on Android and iOS devices or emulators.
• Assist in optimizing application responsiveness and performance.
• Coordinate with QA engineers to resolve reported defects.

5. Version Control & Team Collaboration

• Use Git and GitHub for source code management.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and backend teams.
• Maintain documentation for developed features.
• Follow software development best practices and coding standards.

6. Application Deployment & Maintenance

• Assist in preparing application builds for testing and deployment.
• Support Android APK and App Bundle generation.
• Gain exposure to Google Play Store and Apple App Store deployment processes.
• Assist in implementing application updates and feature enhancements.
• Stay updated with Flutter framework developments and mobile technologies.

Required Technical Skills

1. Flutter Framework

• Basic understanding of Flutter architecture.
• Knowledge of StatelessWidget and StatefulWidget.
• Familiarity with common Flutter widgets.
• Understanding of widget trees, layouts, and navigation.
• Basic knowledge of state management using setState.

2. Dart Programming

• Good understanding of Dart fundamentals.
• Knowledge of variables, functions, classes, and objects.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming using Future and async/await.
• Basic understanding of null safety and exception handling.

3. Mobile Application Development

• Understanding of Android and iOS application fundamentals.
• Knowledge of responsive mobile UI development.
• Familiarity with application lifecycle concepts.
• Basic understanding of mobile application performance optimization.

4. API Integration

• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Knowledge of HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.
• Familiarity with JSON parsing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.

5. Development Tools

• Android Studio or Visual Studio Code.
• Flutter SDK and Dart SDK.
• Git and GitHub.
• Android Emulator and basic device debugging tools.
• Familiarity with Firebase will be an advantage.

6. Additional Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of Provider, Riverpod, or BLoC state management.
• Familiarity with Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore.
• Knowledge of SQLite or local storage.
• Basic understanding of software testing and debugging.
• Awareness of mobile application security fundamentals.

• Candidates with Flutter certifications, internships, or relevant academic projects will have an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or personal projects developed using Flutter and Dart.

• Familiarity with Firebase services.
• Understanding of state management techniques such as Provider, Riverpod, or BLoC.
• Basic knowledge of Git and collaborative development.
