Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically motivated Junior Software Developer (Fresher) with foundational knowledge of Next.js, modern web development, or cloud computing to join our development team in Bangalore.

The selected candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining modern web applications. The role involves working with frontend technologies, backend APIs, databases, and cloud-based development environments.

The ideal candidate should have good programming fundamentals, problem-solving abilities, an understanding of web technologies, and a willingness to learn modern development frameworks and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Next.js & Frontend Development

• Assist in developing responsive web applications using Next.js and React.js.
• Build reusable UI components using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Implement responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks.
• Support page routing, data fetching, and application navigation.
• Collaborate with designers to convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
• Identify and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.

2. Web Application Development

• Assist in developing and maintaining dynamic web applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and REST APIs.
• Implement form validation, authentication interfaces, and interactive features.
• Ensure compatibility across modern browsers and devices.
• Follow web development standards and best practices.

3. Backend Development & API Integration

• Assist in developing server-side functionality using Node.js.
• Work with REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange.
• Support basic CRUD operations and database connectivity.
• Assist in implementing authentication and authorization features.
• Troubleshoot API integration and application errors.
• Collaborate with backend developers to deliver application features.

4. Cloud Computing & Deployment

• Assist in deploying and maintaining web applications on cloud platforms.
• Gain practical exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Vercel.
• Support application hosting, configuration, and environment management.
• Assist in monitoring deployed applications and resolving basic deployment issues.
• Learn cloud storage, compute, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Follow established deployment and infrastructure procedures.

5. Database Management

• Assist in integrating applications with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Write basic queries for data retrieval, insertion, updating, and deletion.
• Support database schema design and data validation.
• Troubleshoot basic database connectivity issues.
• Follow data security and integrity practices.

6. Testing, Debugging & Code Quality

• Perform basic application testing and debugging.
• Identify and resolve functional and UI-related issues.
• Assist in writing unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Follow coding standards and maintain technical documentation.

7. Version Control & Team Collaboration

• Use Git and GitHub for source code management.
• Work with senior developers to understand project requirements.
• Participate in Agile development activities and team meetings.
• Maintain progress updates and documentation for assigned tasks.
• Continuously learn emerging web development and cloud technologies.

Required Technical Skills

1. Programming Fundamentals

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of variables, functions, arrays, objects, and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Basic understanding of TypeScript will be an advantage.

2. Frontend Web Development

• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React.js fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of Next.js and its routing concepts.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar styling frameworks.

3. Next.js Framework

• Basic understanding of Next.js project structure.
• Familiarity with file-based routing or the App Router.
• Awareness of Server Components and Client Components.
• Basic understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Familiarity with data fetching and API integration.
• Basic knowledge of web application performance optimization.

4. Backend & APIs

• Basic understanding of Node.js.
• Familiarity with REST API concepts.
• Knowledge of HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.
• Understanding of JSON and client-server communication.
• Basic knowledge of Express.js will be an advantage.

5. Database Fundamentals

• Basic understanding of DBMS concepts.
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CRUD operations.
• Basic understanding of database relationships and data modeling.

6. Cloud Computing Concepts

• Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals.
• Awareness of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with application hosting and deployment concepts.
• Awareness of cloud storage, virtual machines, and serverless computing.

7. Development Tools

• Familiarity with Vercel, Netlify, or Docker will be an advantage.
