Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. The candidate will identify bugs, execute test cases, and work closely with developers to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and report software defects.
- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing and test case preparation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of Agile methodology.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, or a related qualification.
