Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Developer – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of databases, SQL, programming concepts, and financial planning processes.

The candidate will assist in developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Oracle EPM Cloud applications, particularly Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
• Support implementation activities involving Oracle EPBCS and EDMCS.
• Assist in configuring planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, and metadata.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Work with senior developers to develop and maintain business rules and calculation scripts.
• Assist in data integration, data loading, and validation activities.
• Support metadata management and hierarchy maintenance in EDMCS.
• Participate in application testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and financial planning templates.
• Collaborate with finance, business, and technical teams to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain application configurations.
• Support application enhancements, system upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Learn Oracle EPM Cloud tools, development standards, and implementation best practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) concepts.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL fundamentals.
• Understanding of programming and logical problem-solving concepts.
• Basic knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Understanding of data structures and database relationships.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Willingness to learn Oracle EPM Cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Oracle EPBCS, EDMCS, or Oracle Planning.
• Familiarity with Oracle Essbase and multidimensional databases.
• Understanding of financial consolidation and reporting concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Groovy scripting or Java.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration concepts.
• Understanding of metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and business rules.
• Knowledge of Oracle Smart View.
• Basic understanding of EPM Automate.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Academic projects, internships, or certifications related to Oracle Cloud, databases, or finance systems.

Eligibility Criteria

• Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 0–1 year of experience.
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and programming fundamentals.
• Interest in Oracle Cloud technologies and enterprise applications.
• Candidates with knowledge of finance, accounting, or business planning are encouraged to apply.

• Willingness to undergo training in Oracle EPBCS and EDMCS.
