Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee iOS Developer (Fresher) to join our mobile application development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Swift programming, iOS application development, object-oriented programming, and mobile UI design principles.
The candidate will work closely with experienced iOS developers to design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Apple devices while gaining hands-on experience with Xcode, Swift, and modern iOS development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining iOS applications using Swift.
- Build responsive, interactive, and user-friendly mobile application interfaces.
- Support application development using SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement mobile application designs.
- Assist in integrating RESTful APIs and backend services into iOS applications.
- Work with navigation, layouts, reusable components, and application lifecycle concepts.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs.
- Participate in application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Assist in implementing authentication, notifications, and data storage functionalities.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Support application compatibility across different iPhone and iPad devices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Maintain technical documentation for developed features.
- Assist in application deployment and App Store submission activities.
- Follow iOS development standards and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Swift programming.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with Xcode development environment.
- Basic understanding of iOS application architecture.
- Knowledge of SwiftUI or UIKit fundamentals.
- Understanding of variables, functions, classes, structures, and optionals in Swift.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data handling.
- Basic knowledge of mobile UI design principles.
- Understanding of debugging and application testing concepts.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new iOS development technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SwiftUI and UIKit frameworks.
- Basic understanding of MVC or MVVM architecture.
- Knowledge of Auto Layout and responsive UI design.
- Familiarity with Core Data, SwiftData, or UserDefaults.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming using async/await.
- Basic knowledge of Firebase integration.
- Familiarity with push notifications and third-party API integration.
- Understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
- Knowledge of XCTest or basic unit testing concepts.
- Familiarity with CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager.
- Basic understanding of App Store Connect and application deployment.
- Academic projects or internships involving iOS application development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant iOS development skills may also apply.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Basic understanding of Swift programming and iOS application development.
- Strong interest in Apple technologies and mobile application development.
