Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee React Native Developer (Fresher) to join our mobile application development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of JavaScript, React.js, React Native, and mobile application development concepts.
The candidate will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native.
- Build responsive and user-friendly mobile application interfaces for Android and iOS.
- Develop reusable components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
- Work with React Hooks, functional components, props, and state management.
- Assist in integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement mobile application designs.
- Support mobile navigation and screen transitions using React Navigation.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs.
- Participate in application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Assist in implementing authentication, form validation, and data handling.
- Work with Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Support application compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Maintain documentation for developed components and features.
- Assist in application build, deployment, and release activities.
- Follow software development lifecycle (SDLC) and coding best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Understanding of React.js and React Native fundamentals.
- Familiarity with functional components, props, state, and React Hooks.
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Knowledge of Flexbox and responsive mobile UI development.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP requests, and JSON.
- Basic understanding of mobile application navigation.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Basic understanding of debugging and testing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn modern mobile development technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Basic knowledge of Expo and React Native CLI.
- Understanding of React Navigation.
- Familiarity with Redux Toolkit or Context API.
- Knowledge of Axios or Fetch API for backend integration.
- Basic understanding of Firebase services.
- Familiarity with AsyncStorage and local data storage.
- Understanding of Android Studio and Xcode.
- Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization.
- Basic understanding of Jest and React Native Testing Library.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Academic projects or internships involving React Native development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant React Native skills may also apply.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, React.js, and React Native.
- Strong interest in Android and iOS mobile application development.
