Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Intern to assist the quality assurance team in testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring product quality. The candidate will work closely with developers and QA engineers to verify application functionality, usability, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in testing web and software applications.
Execute manual test cases and document test results.
Identify, report, and track software bugs and defects.
Perform functional, regression, and user interface testing.
Verify software functionality against business requirements.
Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Conduct retesting after bugs have been fixed.
Support cross-browser and compatibility testing.
Follow quality assurance procedures and testing standards.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of web applications and databases.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with Jira or other bug-tracking tools.
Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or other automation testing tools.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of API testing using Postman.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Educational Qualification

B.E., B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, or a related qualification.
Fresh graduates and final-year students with an interest in software testing are encouraged to apply.
